I have chosen to write about the Seattle sports scene because I have been doing since I was 16 (on a WordPress platform no less) and have had great success at it. At the age of 17 I was a finalist for a position with CBS sports as a paid intern to cover the Seattle Seahawks on RapidReports. The position went to someone who has a Hall of Fame vote with the NFL. During my freshman year here at Washington State I had several articles of mine published on ESPN and was syndicated daily on Sports Illustrated, and Fox Sports. As college caught up with me I slowly started writing less. There is no topic that generates more interest for me then sports and I am a huge Seahawks and Sounders fan. I have had millions of hits and millions of views on the topic of Seattle sports and would be ecstatic to “have to write” about this topic and could possibly be prolific at doing so.
